Joao Macamo

Joao’s birthday is celebrated May 15, 1994. We aren’t sure of his birthdate so we created one for him. He came to our center approximately five years ago from another government orphanage. He was lost from his parents so we have no family information on him. Joao is developmentally delayed, he can talk but has difficulty understanding or communicating difficult concepts. He functions at a much lower age rate. He is one of the most loving children in the entire center, quick to give a hug and a thumbs up and to share what he has with everyone else. He loves ALL food and says he wants to be president when he grows up
