Adilson

Adilson came to our center in 2006. He is approximately 10 years old. The police brought him here after he was removed from his home after his father beat him severely. His father is under ongoing investigation by the police and social welfare to determine if he can return to the home. Adilson is very smart and savvy. He is well-spoken and is in his correct grade for his age, one of very few boys in our dorm who are. He can be a bit of a scrapper but has really been changing. He gave a testimony in church that he used to steal but now he doesn’t anymore because God has helped him! He is unsure what he wants to be when he grows up.
